Our Way of Education

INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING PROGRAMME(ILP):
To meet the needs of every child we need to bridge the narrow gaps in learning promote reading through age related text. Mathematics-to develop logical thinking, reasoning and problem-solving skills. Increase the use of practical maths and maths resources.

LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT-READING:
Enthuse children as readers-teaching phonic skills and understanding through reading and cross curricular learning. Promote reading through age related text.

MATHEMATICS:
To develop logical thinking, reasoning and problem-solving skills. Increase the use of practical maths and maths resources. We work collaboratively and share the best practices across; we promote educational research through courses and projects.

ASSESMENT:
We use a range of assessments which includes written work, quiz, oral ,debate discussion, skit, experiments, lab activity etc. ,to review the progress of every child which guides in teacher’s plan and tracking the pupils performance. We use PTA meetings to track pupils’ development.

HOMEWORK:
We ensure that homework is relevant, reinforces learning, inspires and adds value.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
Apart from curriculum, equal weightage is given to co-curricular/extracurricular activities for the overall development of the children.

Montessori

At SVVPS, Kindergarten kids are provided Montessori education where self correction and self assessment play an integral role. Students work on activities that teach language, math, culture, and practical life lessons, with an emphasis on tangible rather than abstract learning. Creativity in the classroom is promoted since students are permitted to choose their activities and work on them on their own terms.
